Motive Haus – Terms of Service

Effective Date: January 2026

This Terms of Service (the “Agreement”) is between You, the user and client, and Motive Haus, LLC (“Motive Haus”).

MOTIVE HAUS POLICIES

Classes must be cancelled at least 12 hours prior to the start of class. If You do not cancel or reschedule before the cancellation window closes, You will be considered a late cancel and will lose your class credit and/or incur a fee.

Late cancels: $10 fee + loss of credit
No-shows: $15 fee + loss of credit

There is a 5-minute grace period for late arrivals, unless a client is on the waitlist or waiting standby, at which point your spot may be given away if we have not heard from you via phone or text to the studio.

Grip socks are mandatory and available for purchase at the studio.

Instructors are subject to change and classes are subject to cancellation without notice.

When possible, an email will be sent communicating schedule changes. Subject to any opt-out, You consent to receive notices from Motive Haus pertaining to any class or session for which You are registered. Motive Haus is not responsible if You do not read notices.

You may freeze your membership once per year for a minimum of one month. Freeze requests must be submitted at least 14 business days in advance and are subject to a $25 administrative fee. Please email info@themotivehaus.com.

Safety is a priority. Instructors may provide corrective touch during class to ensure proper form and safety.

I. PURCHASING INFORMATION

1.1 Purchasing & Payments

All classes are reserved and paid for in advance through Motive Haus’s online booking system. All sales are final. Classes and packages are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be shared.

All fees (including late cancel and no-show fees) will be charged to a valid credit or debit card on file.

1.2 Package Expiration

Class packages expire as stated at the time of purchase. Expired credits are forfeited and will not roll over. Motive Haus does not send expiration reminders.

1.3 Package Policies

Packages are not transferable, extendable, refundable, shareable, or freezable. Accidental bookings do not warrant extensions or refunds.

1.4 First-Time Client Offers

First-time offers may be used once per individual. Creating multiple accounts to redeem offers is prohibited and may result in loss of access without refund.

1.5 Refund Policy

All sales are final. No refunds will be issued.

1.6 Chargeback Policy

By agreeing to this Agreement, You waive the right to issue chargebacks. Any attempted chargeback will result in immediate termination of access and forfeiture of all credits.

1.7 Payment Processor

Payments are processed via MarianaTek. You authorize Motive Haus to charge the card on file for incidental fees, memberships, and recurring charges.

1.8 Account

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and securing your login credentials.

II. MEMBERSHIP

2.1 Memberships

Memberships auto-renew monthly on the purchase date until canceled.

2.2 Auto-Debit Authorization

By enrolling, You authorize Motive Haus to automatically charge your card monthly.

2.3 Membership Cancellation

Membership cancellations can be done within client accounts. 

2.4 Membership Freeze

Freeze requests are to be emailed to info@themotivehaus.com at least 14 days in advance. A $25 fee applies. Freeze must be for a minimum of 30 days. 

2.5 California Health Club Disclosures

This Agreement may be canceled in accordance with California Health Studio Services Contract law due to death, disability, relocation beyond 25 miles, or within five business days of signing.

III. RESERVATIONS & CANCELLATIONS

3.1 Cancellation Policy

Classes must be canceled at least 12 hours in advance via your account or confirmation email.

  • Late cancel: $10 + loss of credit

  • No-show: $15 + loss of credit

Cancellations via social media or text are not valid.

3.2 Late Arrivals

A 5-minute grace period applies for returning clients only. Late arrivals may be denied entry and considered a no-show.

If a client is on the waitlist, the client will be added into the class after two minutes and the late/no-show client will be subject to standard fees. 

 For safety reasons, First timers will be denied entry if arrival is less than 10 minutes before the start of class. 

3.3 Waitlist

Waitlisted clients may be auto-added up to 2 hour before class. If added during the late-cancel window, standard fees apply.

IV. STUDIO POLICIES

Unattended children and pets are not permitted.

Clients must wipe down equipment after class.

Workout attire and grip socks are required.

Retail and gift card sales are final.

Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will result in termination of services without refund.

Clients grant Motive Haus permission to photograph or record content for marketing and promotional use.

Security cameras are used in common areas for safety.

V. PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY & LIABILITY

Participation is at your own risk. Motive Haus is not responsible for injuries, damages, or losses arising from participation.

Special acknowledgements apply to prenatal, pregnant, and postpartum clients.

Clients must sign Liability Waiver prior to first class. 

VI. TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms govern all Motive Haus services, including in-studio classes, online platforms, and digital content.

Motive Haus reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.

Users must be 18+, or 13–17 with parental consent.

Passwords and account access may not be shared.

All intellectual property belongs exclusively to Motive Haus.

California law governs this Agreement. Arbitration will take place in California.
